I have no idea if this actually removes anything from the water. I do know that the constant irritating itch I’ve had at the back of my head every time I wash my hair for the past couple of years has finally stopped. I went from waking up in the middle of the night scratching to zero itch. My body is also less dry and itchy. My hair is more manageable and shinier regardless of the products I use. My fiance’s folliculitis is also noticeably reduced and his hair stays cleaner looking for much longer now.

Installed the filter when it arrived. Water pressure is the same a plus to other filters. Can feel the hardness leave the water after each shower. The instructions listed some charcoal release but have not encountered. Replacement cartridges are economical, not sure how a four month turn around will be, hoping it will last, we have high calcium and iron water. So far the product is working out well.
